Help Protect Community Gardens in Chicago

Help NeighborSpace win $25,000 in Whole Foods "Chicago Green Giveaway"

If you're heading to a Whole Foods in Chicago make sure to vote for NeighborSpace, the organization that brings you One Seed Chicago, in the "Chicago Green Giveaway" contest. The winning organization will receive as much as $25,000! There's no purchase necessary, just stop by the customer service desk at any Whole Foods in Chicago and cast a vote for NeighborSpace before March 23rd.

As Chicago's only non-profit land trust for community gardens NeighborSpace protects 76 vegetable, flower and prairie gardens across the city. With your vote you can help NeighborSpace expand the One Seed Chicago program and protect more gardens on behalf of community groups.

One Seed Chicago Voting Ends April 1st.

There's only two weeks left to vote for One Seed Chicago 2011 candidates, radish, eggplant and Swiss chard.  Vote for your favorite today and you'll receive a free packet of the winning seed in the mail.  Teachers can request a classroom size packet along with an educator guide.  If you've already voted, thank you for participating and please tell your friends to vote.  Voting closes on April 1st and the winner will be announced at the annual Green and Growing Fair, April 30th at the Garfield Park Conservatory.
